Over $13,000 raised at 2010 Help Chris Walk

From $25 ticket sales, to over a hundred auction items, money was coming in not only on November 6th, but after the event.  Checks were coming in weeks before and after the event from those who could not attend.  Generous checks were received from anonymous donors who wanted to donate beyond the night. Also, monthly pledges from supports still arrive in the mail, keeping Chris active at Project Walk.  Chris will be able to attend Project Walk another year, thanks to your support! Medical expenses also are projected to be covered with this support too, allowing Chris to focus on other things of live, rather than the financial cost of paralysis.

Six pack here we come!

Chris completes over 200 "sit-ups" at Project Walk on September 16th. Since being paralyzed at chest level, control of some lower muscles have started to return. Exercises like these retrain his body how to use these muscles and increase their strength.

Well over 100 friends and family came out to support Help
Chris Walk.

The ribs, lamb, deserts, and corn bread were a hit among the food items.  The auction area was expanded this year and items sold directly went to Chris' medical expenses and recovery items like hours of Project Walk therapy.  The Gas and Steam Museum from Vista, California provided live music for entertainment and dancing. Four bands played throughout the night creating a great backdrop to the evening.

Chris Marsolais wowed the crowed with a heart felt testimony, sharing the ups and downs of the last year, and what it is like living with paralysis.  Despite the ability to walk, Chris shared how Jesus keeps him moving each day.

Thank-you to all the behind the scenes crews that worked to make such a successful night!
